old time nursery - Marbotts. Sunday I visited Marbotts, an old time nursery in NE Portland, I love this place. This is not a slick operation. You don't always find a price on each plant and as I discovered last year sometimes you have to convince the owner that you should be allowed to purchase a plant (more on that below).

Even though I no longer own a house with a large yard and garden, every spring and fall I find myself wandering though Marbotts admiring the beauty, taking in the tranquility and enjoying the way they have artistically style their garden and shop. Inside there are so many houseplants.
